When the US Army required specialized pile driving equipment, Berminghammer proposed, designed and built a complete solution, allowing the US Army to rapidly deploy equipment to repair and replace critical infrastructure at a moment’s notice.

The US Army required a system which would allow the use of existing light duty cranes, drive almost any type of pile and be fast and simple to use and deploy, all while being easily stored and transported. Berminghammer modified existing hammer and lead system designs to accommodate the capacity of the specified light duty crane as well as other unique modifications, such being able to operate using a wide variety of more readily available fuels.

The entire system is stored and transported in a single weather tight box and is capable of withstanding many years of storage. The system can be rapidly deployed and pile driving started almost immediately - less than two hours is required to unpack and have the system ready to work.
